Albert C. Leonhard, 81, of Manheim, PA,
died on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Pleasant View Retirement Community.
Born in Lancaster, PA, Albert was a son
of the late Eugene and Frances (Cramer) Leonhard. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church
of Christ in Manheim, PA, where he had served as usher, deacon, and on the
Men's Fellowship Committee.
Albert worked for FLSmidth in Manheim
(formerly Fuller Company) for 42 years, before retiring in 2001. He had previously worked at the former Hubley
Toy Co., Lancaster Malleable, and Penn Stone.
After retiring from FLSmidth, Albert worked at Lancaster County Marine,
A car and truck enthusiast all his life,
Albert loved any form of auto racing or motorsports.
Albert will be lovingly missed by his
longtime companion, Deborah C. Enterline of Manheim; two granddaughters: Danielle,
wife of James Siler of Hagerstown, MD and Jennifer, wife of Benjamin Welk of
Quarryville, PA; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances J. wife of Dale
P. Hartman of Akron, PA; one brother: John A. Leonhard, husband of Karen, of
Ephrata, PA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Albert was
preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann (Ditzler) Leonhard and his daughter,
Debra Sue (Leonhard) Shepherd.
Friends will be received at Paul L.
Gravenor Home For Funerals, 100 W. Main St. Ephrata, PA 17522 from 2-3 p.m. on
Saturday, June 1, 2019. Funeral services
will follow at 3 p.m. Interment will be
private at the convenience of the family.
